Centrifugal Wall Exhaust Fan

A centrifugal wall exhaust fan is the most fully configured unit in the wall-mounted range, for projects where both extract performance and durability are required. The impeller is precision-balanced to G6.3, the motor bearings are double-sealed for humid environments, and the fit between faceplate and internal parts is held to a higher tolerance so the unit does not develop air leaks or noise increase as the faceplate ages. It is supplied with a gravity damper and an outdoor rain hood as standard, for direct through-wall installation.

Impeller balanced to G6.3. Vibration is held to G6.3, which is the level that keeps noise and bearing load down over long service in a wall-mounted unit.

Double-sealed bearings for humid duty. Bearings are double-sealed, keeping moisture and dust out of the bearing races. In bathrooms and coastal locations this is the main factor in bearing life.

Thicker ABS faceplate with reinforcing ribs at the edge. The faceplate resists cracking when bolt torque is high during installation, which is a common failure on thin faceplates fitted by fitters unfamiliar with the unit.

Gravity damper and outdoor rain hood as standard. The unit is ready for direct through-wall installation without ordering a separate rain hood, which simplifies procurement on batch projects.

Standard configuration:

Customised range (to be confirmed per project): faceplate to existing opening; humidity sensor or delay switch; rear or side discharge; stainless steel rain hood.

The faceplate is protected with foam corner pieces, and the damper and rain hood are packed separately. Packing is a carton, suitable for batch shipment. Because the rain hood and damper are supplied as standard, both are checked for completeness and fit before packing, since a missing hood stops the installation on site.
